While I’ve been a loyal Erin Condren Life Planner fan for years, I’ve never had a chance to use the Erin Condren Teacher Planner. Enter, homeschooling! Now I have an excuse to get my hands on the teacher planner! And, like all Erin Condren planners, it’s beautiful – high quality paper, pretty colors, plenty of space to write, all that good stuff. Here’s my Erin Condren Teacher Planner review.
It’s a little bit overkill for “lesson planning” for a kindergartener (I put that in quotes because kindergarten will mostly be play, play, play!) but I wanted to go ahead and get in the habit of planning and recording things anyway.

Erin Condren Teacher Planner Review
I went with the Watercolor Apples cover for my planner. It’s an older cover but I just loved the classic apples!
The inside of the cover can be written on with dry erase markers, wet erase markers, or even a Sharpie (use some rubbing alcohol on the Sharpie and it’ll come right off)
The first page has space for you to write your info (I got a little excited and started filling mine in before I took pictures so I had to blur a little bit of it out but you get the idea). There’s also places to write things like classroom resources, events, etc. Obviously those won’t be needed as a homeschooler so I’ll use those spots for other things.
Communication log
Year at a Glance. Erin Condren also sells little round translucent stickers (they come in the Cool for School sticker book) that fit perfectly over the dates and you can use them to mark holidays, school breaks, etc.
A spot to do some long term planning. I don’t love how this runs January – December instead of July – June, so I’m going to use stickers to change the months.
This is the Metallic Sticker Sheet that I’ll use to change the months.
Graph paper
Lined paper for notes. Also pictured here is one of the Mini Snap-In Bookmarks that you can purchase as a planner accessory.
Each month has a notes/planning page before it.
Here’s the monthly calendar view.
And then the bulk of the planner – the weekly planning section.
There are also quite a few pages of Student Checklists at the back. I’m not sure how I’ll use this part yet for homeschool but I’ll find something creative to do with it!
As with all Erin Condren planners, there are some stickers in the back.
There’s also a nice, large pocket
And a sturdy sheet protector that you can slip papers into
The back of the planner can be written on as well. The little pen loop is an additional accessory that I added.
The Erin Condren Teacher Planner does not have any holidays listed on the monthly calendar view. Instead, they send sheets of stickers so that you can pick and choose which holidays you want to put on there (if any at all). I thought that was really cool!
The Cool for School sticker book has a lot of cute stickers in it (see the video at the end of this post for a flip through of that)
For reference, here’s what the Erin Condren Teacher Planner looks like size-wise compared to the standard Erin Condren Life Planner. I can’t wait to get started planning with this! Once I’ve got a groove going I’ll share how I’m using the planner for homeschooling.
If you have never ordered from Erin Condren before you can use this link and get $10 off your first purchase. (they will send you an email with a code that you can then use when you purchase)
