Preschool Math Activity Pack

I am so excited to introduce this Preschool Math Activity Pack I’ve created!  I created this specifically with RightStart Math families in mind, however, it can be used by anyone!

The backstory

This last year I was looking for some easy, relatively independent learning activities that my 3 year old (now 4, but 3 at the time I started this) could do during our homeschool time.  While I was searching I found myself thinking about the huge box of math manipulatives we already have.  We have used RightStart Math as our homeschool math curriculum for four years and it comes with a ton of manipulatives – centimeter cubes and colored tiles and coins and tally sticks and so much more.  Wouldn’t it be great if there were some simple activities she could do that used the materials we had on hand?  A busy bundle for younger siblings of RightStart Math users, if you will ;)

That didn’t exist so I made it myself!

Preschool Activity Pack Details

This activity pack contains 14 simple math activities that use maniuplatives from the RightStart Math set.  If you don’t use RightStart you can still use this too!  You can get the manipulatives on Amazon (see that list here) or use things around your house (for some of the activities).

  • The activities are mostly independent which is perfect for those little ones who need something to keep them occupied during school time.
  • It’s very low prep (hooray!).  It’s a digital file that you print at home; I recommend printing on cardstock and laminating for durability.  One page you might want to use velcro dots (I did) or magnets, but it’s not a must.
  • I created this with three to four year olds in mind.  These activities can be modified and made easier/harder depending on the age of the child.

Here’s a video with a closer look at each activity included in the pack:

Note #1: This is not a preschool math program, just a set of activities for preschool age kids that use the manipulatives that RightStart Math users will have on hand.  If you’re looking for an actual preschool math program, I recommend Preschool Math at Home as a very easy, gentle program – I’ve used this with my kids before they start RightStart.

Note #2: This Preschool Math Activity Pack is not a RightStart Math product or affiliated with RightStart in any way, I just created it with the RightStart program in mind.
