King of Christmas Tree Review

I grew up in an “no Christmas until after Thanksgiving” house and as an adult I just naturally followed that pattern in my own decor, but a few years ago I realized just how much joy Christmas decorations and the Christmas season bring me (and my kids) so I started putting up our decorations earlier in November.  The only problem with that is that I’m also a live Christmas tree girly and one of the downsides of having a live tree is that you can’t put it up too early or else it’ll be droopy and dead by Christmas.

What’s a girl to do?!  Answer: get a fake tree I can put up early and enjoy all season then get my live tree closer to Christmas, of course!

Soooooo when King of Christmas contacted me about reviewing one of their trees I jumped on the opportunity!  I’ve never set up a tree in September but by golly this year I sure did (at least temporarily ;) ) so that I could try it out and give you all the deets.  Here’s my King of Christmas tree review:

The tree I picked is the King Noble Fir that comes pre-lit with 400 warm white lights.  It looks kind of sparse in the pictures on the website, and I’d say it’s definitely not as full as some Christmas trees, but as you can see in my pictures it’s still plenty full.  I’d say it has medium fullness, if one were to try to measure fullness.

Here’s everything as it looked straight out of the box: the three main parts of the tree, a stand, gloves, a remote, instructions, and a storage bag.

King of Christmas tree parts

Each section is labeled (A, B, C) so you know exactly how to put it together.  (honestly it’s pretty easy to tell just based on their sizes but just in case you weren’t sure, the labels are nice)

Christmas tree bottom

Perhaps the best part of this tree is how incredibly simple it is to put up.  The tree is prelit and comes in 3 sections.  You plug the bottom section into the wall then put place the 2nd and 3rd sections on the bottom and they light up automatically!  So cool!

My only experience with fake trees thus far were the ones where you have to attach every single branch individually and then put lights on…this one is soooooo much simpler than that!  Each of the three sections just falls into place, there’s not attaching of branches, the lights are already one, and it only takes a smidge of fluffing to get it looking just right.

It’s seriously so easy to use!  I moved it all over my house trying to decide exactly where I want to put it when Christmas rolls around and looking for the best spot for it’s glamour shots for this blog post.  I moved it (by myself, mind you) to six different locations, including taking it upstairs and downstairs, and it was no hassle at all.  So easy to grab each of the three sections, move them to a different spot, pop them in place, and boom…done.

Once you’ve hauled it all over the house and finally settled on where you want the tree to live, you can then use the included gloves to protect your arms as you give it a good fluffing.

It also comes with a remote.  There’s an attached button on the cord at the base of the tree that you can use to change the light settings but you can also use this remote to turn it on and off, turn on a timer, adjust the brightness, and change the light settings (there are 8 different light settings).

Isn’t it just so cozy and beautiful?!

It also comes with a storage bag which is super nice.  The box it came in is really sturdy but I just know there is no way I’d be able to pack everything back in there so I’m using the bag.  The storage bag is super roomy so you can put all the tree parts in there without having to squish them.

King of Christmas tree packed up

All packed up and ready for storage!  Off to the attic it goes…but only for a few weeks because this baby is coming back out as soon as Halloween is over!  My kids 100% want it to go in the playroom but I’m thinking this is going to go in my bedroom – I’ve always wanted a tree in there for cozy Christmas ambiance!

King of Christmas storage bag

I am very impressed with my King of Christmas King Noble Fir tree and can’t wait to use it this Christmas!

Happy Christmas decorating!
