For my birthday this year (back in February) I asked for a Made by Mary necklace with the kids’ initials. At the time we hadn’t picked out Colton’s name so I told Michael to wait until we did and then we’d order it. That took us longer than I expected and he was a couple of days old before we eventually decided 😂 but I finally got to order my necklace. Happy belated birthday to me!
I went with the Evie Charm Stacker Disc Necklace with 4 discs (one for each of the kids). At the last minute I added on an additional disc for Michael and me too (the Made my Mary jewelry is very customizable, which is awesome!) and I’m so happy I did! It’s just a smidge larger than the kids’ initials (I did 3/4 for our disc and the kids’ are 1/4) and I love how it turned out! It’s so simple and versatile so I can wear it everyday with all kinds of outfits.
I also got a Satellite Choker to stack with my personalized necklace. I’ve been loving this multiple necklaces look that’s currently trendy!
In addition to the necklaces I got a pair of Live in Hoop earrings (16mm size). My ears have gotten very sensitive over the last few years and most earrings irritate my ears. I was hoping these would be a good solution and they’re perfect! They’re designed to be put in and left in – you can sleep in them, shower in them, exercise in them, and…well…live in them (hence the name). They have a different type of backing that is a little bit difficult to put in, which is ok since you aren’t taking them in and out all the time, and once you get them in they’re super comfortable.
I’ve never been able to sleep in earrings but I’ve been sleeping in these every night for a couple of weeks and they don’t bother me a bit. They are seriously so light and comfortable that you can’t even feel them!
I am so, SO happy with my new jewelry! It’s so perfect for my current stage in life because it’s beautiful but also easy and simple. Here’s what it all looks like on:
