How do I order essentials oils?
With Young Living you have three ordering options:
1. Open a retail account. This is like ordering from Target or Old Navy – you’ll pay full retail price.
2. Open a wholesale account (think Sams/Costco) but our wholesale account comes with an amazing starter kit of oils, cleaning products, CBD, etc. (see below for options) and you get to order everything at the wholesale price (24% less than retail)
3. This last way is definitely the BEST way to get started is with one of the starter kits and the wholesale account PLUS getting on our essential rewards program because I know you’re going to love these products as much as I do! You’ll get more free oils, money back to use on free product, and an easy way to stock up on all your products.
What’s the catch?
There isn’t one! You do not have to make a monthly minimum purchase (unless you want to). You don’t have to sell anything (unless you want to). If you never want to order again after making that initial purchase you won’t be penalized other than losing your discount (just like your Sam’s membership would expire if you didn’t renew each year). However with Young Living you don’t have to pay a fee to keep your membership active, you just have to purchase $50 worth of product a year (so restocking your lavender and peppermint or grabbing some supplements or toiletries would totally do it). Easy peasy!
What are the perks of a Young Living membership?
In addition to the fabulous starter kits (which we’ll talk about in just a sec) and the wholesale membership so you can get discounted products, you’ll also get to join a wonderful community of oilers who share their stores and answer questions and are just generally super helpful on your oily journey. We have an amazing private Facebook group that you can be added to when you join, tons of classes, business resources, and more! You will be personally mentored by me and at least one other person on my team to make sure you are getting your questions answered and any help you might desire on your oily journey.
So how do I get started with Young Living?
Definitely the best value and the best way to get oils to try is to sign up wholesale with one of our starter kits.

This is our most popular starter kit and the one that the majority of people choose when they join!

3. *BRAND NEW* Little Oilers Starter Kit!!
As a mom who helps lots of other moms get started using oils I’ve been hoping for a kid-specific kit and I’m SO excited that Young Living has one now! This kit contains the diffuser we use in my boys’ bedroom as well as the pre-diluted, kid friendly oils that we use alllll the time on them.
The Little Oilers starter kit is $135 and includes:

5. CBD Starter Kit(s)
If you’re interested in CBD, look no further! Young Living offers two CBD starter kits featuring their Smart Spectrum CBD (0.0% THC!)
One of the CBD starter kits is $165 and includes:
- 300mg Calm CBD roller (this calming roller is one of my favorites to use for myself and for my kids!)
- 500mg Citrus CBD oil
- 300mg CBD muscle rub (this has been incredible for my back, my shoulder, my knee, all my aches!)
The other CBD starter kits contains stronger strength CBD products and is $250. It includes:
- 600mg Calm CBD roller
- 1000mg Citrus CBD oil
- 600mg CBD muscle rub
6. Basic Starter Kit
If you haven’t seen anything you want yet, the Basic starter kit might be a good option! This one is not nearly as good of a deal as the kits listed above BUT it’s a good budget option and you can use it to “build your own” kit by adding on other products you want (the kid products or baby products, perhaps).

7-9. Specialty starter kits
Here are all the starter kit options as of May 2021. There are a few *limited edition* temporary kits here in this graphic that are NOT part of our usual line up that I shared above so check those out!
The Holiday Kit – $150
Comes with a Sweet Aroma diffuser, diffuser carrying case, 9 oils, and Thieves hand sanitizer.
Seed to Seal Kit – $49
Comes with lavender, peppermint, and tea tree oil.
Haven Kit – $135
Comes with a Haven diffuser, lemon, lavender, peppermint, Peace & Calming, and two dropper bottles.
Steps to sign up
1. Click here to begin. Choose your language, and in the top right-hand corner click on “Become a Member”.
2. On the next page check the box to become a “Member“. This is the wholesale membership with discounted pricing (24% off retail pricing). If you select “Retail,” you will be paying full price for your products and you will not have the option to purchase a starter kit.
3. Under “Membership Details” my information should already be filled in for you. But if not, under the question, “Who introduced you to Young Living?” select the option: “I was referred by a Young Living member, and I have his/her member number.” When prompted, enter my member number (1612080) in both boxes: sponsor and enroller ID. Select your desired country and language, then click “next.”
4. Enter your personal information. Write down the username, password, and pin somewhere so you’ll have it for reference later on.
5. After creating your account, the next step is to pick your starter kit. The Premium Starter Kit with Diffuser is the one with 12 oils and diffuser is my favorite one! It works out to over $400 worth of products for $165. Woohoo! This really is the best value of all the starter kits and WELL worth the investment.
For those who are more interested in oils for your kids, Thieves (natural cleaning), Ningxia Red (antioxidant drink), or CBD there are also premium starter kits built around these fantastic products.

Economy shipping will be FREE for all of the starter kit options except the Basic Kit (unless you get the Basic Kit + other items). Or you can pay to upgrade shipping if you want your items to arrive faster!
6. Next it will ask you if you want to enroll in Essential Rewards. I highly recommend you check “yes” so you can get started on our monthly subscribe and save! You’ll automatically earn 10% of your order back in points to use later. It will ask you to add products for your order for next month – a great option for the first month is the Thieves Essential Rewards kit! (and you can cancel at any time if you change your mind later)
7. If you wanted to add any other oils or Young Living products to your order then click on “Add more products to enrollment order”. If you add enough to reach 190, 250, or 300 PV you will earn the free monthly oil promotions (see below). Otherwise, select “Enrollment Checkout”.
8. Check out.
That’s it! Now wait anxiously for your box of oily goodness to show up on your doorstep!
